Ingredients:
- 1 pound of pizza dough
- 1/2 cup of pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup of cooked sausage crumbles
- 1/2 cup of sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 cup of sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup of sliced green bell peppers
- 1/4 cup of sliced onions
- 1/4 cup of sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup of sliced pickled jalapeos
- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 425F 220C
Grease a 10-inch cast-iron skillet with olive oil
Press the pizza dough evenly into the bottom and up the sides of the skillet to create a deep-dish crust
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough
Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce
Layer the cooked sausage, pepperoni, black olives, green bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, and pickled jalapeos on top of the cheese
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the toppings
Drizzle olive oil over the cheese and sprinkle with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned
Remove the skillet from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the hot pizza
Serve hot and enjoy your Meat-Eaters Deep Dish Skillet Pizza
